Suffolk Development Agency The Company The Suffolk Development Agency (SDA) is the county wide strategic agency for economic development. Main strategic priorities: - Attract new business investment and re-investment - Build a world class workforce in a learning county - Improve communications - Improve business performance - Strengthen the economy of the rural areas - Strengthen the economy of Waveney The SDA represents a partnership of key private, public and voluntary sector organisations. The long term vision of the SDA is 'to establish Suffolk as a top ranking county, with a high qualilty of life, where GDP puts us on a par with Europe's most prosperous regions'. The following sectors will be given priority initially: Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Advanced Manufacturing and Shipping, Transport & Logistics. |
